Back to the Present: Defending Presentist Time Travel

Abstract: Simon Keller and Michael Nelson (2001) argue that if presentism is at all plausible, presentism and time travel are as compatible as eternalism and time travel. But Kristie Miller (2006) and Ted Sider(2005) aren't convinced. I argue that for their concerns to have merit, Miller and Sider must assume presentism is committed to an unacceptable account of causation. I explain why presentists aren't so committed and defend the compatibility of presentism and time travel.
